          I would qualify that last bit about preventing remote admin as prevent remote admin of this machine. As it will be the thing use to perform remote admin.

                      My friend does this type of thing at home with VMs now - games in his host machine - but surfs, etc in different VMs to protect things from each other.

                            Microsoft warns wormable Windows bug could lead to another WannaCry

                            Company takes the unusual step of patching Win 2003 and XP. 7, Server 2008 and 2008 R2 also vulnerable.
                            Microsoft is warning that the Internet could see another exploit with the magnitude of the WannaCry attack that shut down computers all over the world two years ago unless people patch a high-severity vulnerability.
