          Hey now..

If I recall, you're Gen Z, not Gen Y, so you're not a millenial. Post-Millenial - or whatever the name is in use today.

          He's not THAT young!

Correct However, I dont use "FaceTime" as my means of communication. I dont even own a single Apple Product .

Well, those things are very Millenial. Apple is the "millennial product", brand over substance.

today is the 4th day in a row I forgot to grab a pair of head phones for the Video Lessons on our Take out Software

Sounds like it's time to leave a cheap pair at work.

              I agree.
I just need to go get some is the problem

That's my day too, I just need to go get some.

Not me (not now, anyhow). I'm forced to have an iPad 2 (yes, it's old) and a 2016 iMac in my office... but I don't personally own them (or really use them that much).

I'm not saying ONLY Millenials have them. Anyone who is senile at any age.... hahaha.

But no, it's just the strong "everything has to be Apple or a big low quality, big budget brand name" is a very millenial thing. They are much more brand driven I feel than other generations.

Well, that's one way to look at it. But another way is to say that they tend to "prioritize brand recognition as the most important aspect of a good". It's just the thing that they care about. It's not really for us to say that their consumer values are "wrong", silly and immature, absolutely. Not good for them, sure. But all consumerism is based around "personal perceived value" and it is actually wrong to apply "business value", which is a universal, to "consumer value", which is a relative.

Easy way to think of it...

Business Value: How does this make me more money?

Consumer Value: How does this make me feel?
