@scottalanmiller My at-home workspace has been relegated to the machine room with the air-handler, hot-water tank, deep-freeze and all the misc crap that a family of 4 accumulates....
GAH - how did we get into the same office?? Same here.. sigh,.. constant running air handler,.. no ducts in here either,.. so nearly 10 deg cooler then the main part of the house. Hot water tank, the lawn mower when it's down here ... and ... very little light.

We've recently deployed about 25 to our sales staff and have had 3 MB replacements in the past 4 mths... and nobody's got any love for the USB-C docks.... really wishing that they had continued the E-series docking system

You are not the only one.. The E-docks where 'the best' and I sought out laptops based on it... sigh.. alas... i since moved on due to something I can't remember.

That looks like the Dell Inspiron two in one. Every employee in our company has that laptop.
They make the same thing with latitude branding also

Desktop with Dual,.. One selected to the rPi right now
Laptop..Desktop speakers have an AUX input.. so can run PC and Alexa audio at the same time.. neato..

So the laptop is my main driver and runs the 3 displays + it's own.
The lower display to the right is for a workstation that's used for building / maintaining our windows 10 deployment images as well as a GNS3 install that I need to find the time to use to mock-up our WAN / VPN topology.
The fireplace on the arm is a drastically underpowered 20" inspiron all in one touchscreen that had been doing nothing for years so I've taken it, put linux on it and it's just a toy / conversation piece.
EDIT: fireplace has now become an ASCII aquarium
