An extreme sports game with a story? FutureGrind’s developers talk cyberpunk

FutureGrind is a challenging and fun sci-fi take on the Trials formula.

Yesterday, an indie extreme-sports game called FutureGrind launched on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows. And it's about time, too. I had played the game at events like E3, PlayStation Experience, and the Game Developers Conference several times over the years, and I got addicted—to the point that, in the lead-up to any new industry show, I started to wonder, "Oh man, I wonder what's new with FutureGrind."

I have no idea how the US is in the to 20 let alone #8

I don't either. When I look at the break-down, it's so low (as in bad) in so many important areas, and high in others like "international influence".

          Sounds fishy.

And why is influence a factor? How does that make it good to live in?

Forgotten man, forgotten disease—Aniru Conteh and the battle against Lassa fever

Surrounded by civil war and one of Africa's deadliest diseases, he stayed to save thousands.

The pickup truck was so overloaded with medical equipment that the chassis sagged almost to the ground. Dr. Austin Demby had just finished loading up the Toyota Hilux with as many microscopes, IV bags, computers, and lab and chemistry equipment he could fit in the extended bed. And as fast as possible, he sped away from the hospital in Segbwema, Sierra Leone.

Superhero siblings must thwart the apocalypse in The Umbrella Academy

Netflix adaptation of Gerard Way's popular comic books series debuts on February 15.

Netflix has released the first full trailer for The Umbrella Academy, its TV adaptation of the comic book series of the same name written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá. So we'll soon be treated to the darkly comic adventures of the Hargreeves siblings, a dysfunctional family of reluctant superheroes. Think of them as the anti-Incredibles.

Does gum disease have a key role in Alzheimer's?

Does gum disease play a key role in the development of Alzheimer's?

Scientists believe this may be the case after their study found further evidence of the link between bacteria in a common type of gum disease and people with dementia.

Researchers say their findings offer hope for a new way of tackling the illness, for which there is no cure and no effective treatments.

But does it mean people should be more worried about their oral health?

As Scott loves to point out - who knows if they are doing real science here or not. 😞

I hadn’t heard any bill has actually passed and been signed yet.

                                        Just that it was agreed.
