Not good at bowling, Infact I'm terrible. Pretty good at pool though. Normally play pool on a Friday evening, although can't do anything like that at the minute as I'm laid up on the sofa..

Just got done trouble shooting a kitchen printer problem - one that I was not assigned to , but was the only one available even though I'm not on call: it was a com port issue on the terminal- everything else was correct, that was the only explanation.
My boss' boss emailed all of us and I'm the only one who answered.
            Frustrating situation.

apparently this fix did not fix the printer: they are still having a printer down.
I am now on the hook for this because i decided this needed to be resolved. . .

                Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Is it covered in grease and the floor so slippery you think you're on an ice skating rink? That's my experience.

no: the printer wasn't "broken" it was double printing, swapped out the printer same issue.
Turned off FIFO on the com port. caused the printer to go down completely.

Not only are we likely to break the million mark sometime late today or tomorrow, but we are at a record traffic level day, too

Mysterious strategic coat hanger. So what are you saying, you're some kind of fat cat with a fancy toilet repair kit? What are you too good to use your hands and a coat hanger? You disgust me.

I'd just use my hands, I've done that. Some nice, cool tank water.

Once my wife made a whole bunch of fake blood to dip one of our kid's Halloween costume in, and so I took some and started covertly putting it in the toilet tanks. As long as the toilet gasket is good and it doesn't leak, when they flush the toilet they have an Amityville Horror situation.
