Recently Microsoft started sending out security alerts via email for normal email management functions. We have some global admins that require that they not receive these. Does anyone know how to silent Microsoft from sending these to them?

      Here is an example...

A low-severity alert has been triggered

      ⚠ Creation of forwarding/redirect rule

      Severity: ● Low

      Time: 9/26/2018 1:30:00 PM (UTC)

      Activity: MailRedirect

      User: [email address]

Details: MailRedirect. This alert is triggered whenever someone gets access to read your user's email.

      Investigate

      Thank you,
      The Office 365 Team

Found it. Go into the Security & Compliance Center, Then "Alerts" from the left menu. You can disable it here.

As a general thought on this, automatic mail forwarding could be a compliance issue, so make sure to keep this in mind before you go turning off alerts that might be a compliance issue later on. . .

Automatic mail forwarding is a "every few hours" task. So these alerts are a ridiculous amount of crying wolf. It's created a "zero belief" system in MS alerts. At this point, there are no alerts, just spam, is how it is seen.
