They've completely changed how it works. It is the Crown system now. I go one by one and max them out, personally. I think that that is the better idea, it's meant to do reinforcement.
I'll try that.
I'm at about 140 Crowns on Spanish right now. They added 52 more lessons to Spanish since I last completed it!
Yeah, they added so much content. Good stuff.

Only 66 "skills" for Swedish. If they each have 5 levels, that should give me 330 crowns.
What is the potential for Spanish @scottalanmiller? 80 skills now?

Over 80 I think. It was HUGE before they added the 50+ new ones.

Spanish is their leading language by a huge margin. It always gets everything first.

About 1/3rd of the way through the "new Spanish" after having maxed it out on the old system.

I have 950 Lingots, but nothing to spend them on. I've bought everything that there is to buy.

After losing my big streaks in the past, I am finally back up to 43 days.

Liesl was up to 22 days and lost it forgetting to do it while i was in Portland.

I have always wanted to learn Spanish..... over the last few years I've downloaded DuoLingo to my phone 2-3 times and eventually deleted it without doing anything...

It's all about finding a way to make it into a habit. I try to find challenges to go after, like beating everyone on my list in points. Or keeping up a streak.

Ah, yeah, I've been going crazy to pull ahead of the one person that historically had so much more than me.
