I'm about 99% sure that after almost 30 years of supporting end users, I just have no more patience left. I find myself almost immediately going for my sidearm instead of a deep breath and friendly demeanor.
The other day I had an end user ............ . . . . . .. ... . . .... . .. . I can't talk about. That night I drank too much.
Very much understand... I started in IT in 1990,.. but had already been working with computers for a few years...
Seen some crazy stupid things,.. and dealt with some of the densest end users,.. Best you can do is vent in a productive way, and move on... at least the best you can.
Target practice with said fire arm seems productive to me... and I do mean target practice, lol. I don't want to hear about @siringo in the news for shooting somebody.
I have saved a hard drive or two )just need to find them) for
targetpractice... yea yea,.. I've seen plenty of Youtube videos... but I want one on my shelf... I already have a 2.5" drive that ground itself to death,.. no really... the heads are completely gone - as is nearly half the arm. -

and I have all my notes in the ticket that I closed, and Over all I spent 2 hours on the phone and in email dealing with this.
Nice work. Showing them up with professionalism is better for you than stooping to their level.

Moved on from Coffee to Mountain Dew already..
Updated and closed a few tickets myself.. Even with some documentation.. sigh -

Updated and closed a few tickets myself.. Even with some documentation.. sighVery nice, I only drink soda (pop, whatever) at work, or on the weekends. I have a hard enough time sleeping as it is.

That's the truth. I've known that printers suck, but I never knew how bad it could be until I've seen what our Citrix admins go through.

Im still dealing with this printer, finally got it available on the network, can see everything, but now it wont print a test page. Grr..

Check the port.. I hate that sometimes windows tries to use the WSP driver - I hate that... Port it direct t othe IP

@gjacobse I actually have no tickets to work on. I have one but the guy has been gone for the summer and need him here for it. I have other trivial things I do to stay busy but I'm kind of bored in reality lol
