How is it not as designed, though? I'm using the only system that they provided at the time. All of the others are later additions.

I think the fact that @JaredBusch is stating is that you left out some Private Groups and WC which made it to to not have all the groups.

That's fair. But there isn't a "select all" function either.

Correct, because they have an intentional design that does not include such a thing. For email or anything else.

Are you sure they had a feed? When I was using email, it was years before they talked about a feed.

It was not called feed and it was not like the current feed.

But there was a standard view that had been there since I started using the community that showed stuff based on what you followed and subscribed to.

The current feed replaced it.

There were a few other attempts over the last few years before they forced the current feed. Nothing was ever previously forced to replace that view until the feed came out.

Edit: This was the only way I navigated the community. I did not navigate the community in any other way except to use the search to get to categories.
