What Are You Doing Right Now

All helpful and I'll have a look Monday when back in. Unless I get a few hours peace over the weekend.
But my question is with ESXi and XenServer all you do is install. Setup an IP then install the client and connect.
HyperV you seem to need to run endless commands.
I would of expected since it's Microsoft and I'm using Win10 if both machines are on the domain I should be able to connect. -
@jaredbusch yeah that's what I expecting. I can ping from the server to the my pc but not the other way. So guess firewall.
(Got involved with an office move so got distracted to look further) -

I would of expected since it's Microsoft and I'm using Win10 if both machines are on the domain I should be able to connect.Four firewall commands are not endless. Still something that should just work, or have a simple setting for as it is supposed to be remotely managed.
VMWare did not used ot be easier. You use to have to manually install a fat client. Is their new HTML5 thing built in? Or is it still a separate install? I have no idea.
XenServer simple? Hahahahahahahhaahah

On another note.
Got most tasks done. Apart from the Proposals
But did delve into the scale solution more and starting looking a switches and how to connect it all up so I can see what I need (more in terms of number of ports needed) -

now there are a number of us LocAO at someone who is claiming to be from the IT field spew all sorts of crap - trying to tell us how to do our jobs...

Same here... would be a good bit more power than a rPi - and more ports. I could seriously put one to work for a number of projects... but some only need rPz level builds.. sigh... so much to do... so little ....
