How does one actually use NTP in ubiquiti switches?
Mine have never done an ntp sync.
There is no button to sync from a list of servers in the WebUI
There is no command to do this in cli from what i can tell, either.

I'll have to look more, but typically you set them to the correct time as close as you can, and they take care of themselves after that point. They can only sync if they are already close in time.

@momurda said in Force NTP sync Ubiquiti switch:

That'll do it. Once they are off by many minutes, they can't do enough tweaking to catch up to the right time and stop trying. Now maybe they never started in your case, but NTP is suppose to hold a time, not set a time.

Im sorry but how do you set the time manually?
date isnt a valid command anymore from cli
There is no option to do this in webui. Unless it is hidden away somewhere.
There is a Time Zone setting with Date and Time fields. But i cannot type anything into them.

@momurda System > Advanced Configuration > SNTP > Server Configuration

I never had to set the time manually...
