      Hey guys...
do you have a good open source tool to look through IIS logs and WP logs? Plain Text is just killing me.

      Thanks...

ELK is the big open source tool.

Check out Splunk and Loggly too.

Loggly does have a free version, but I think the daily limit is 200 MB. You will get an e-mail if you go over your limit.

Loggly is super easy to use, but the limit isn't very big.

Thanks for the info guys... we're trying to hunt down how / where we getting brute force attacked from. But our setup inside our NOC is a little bit screwed up...

If it is a single system, Loggly is likely your best bet. We use it for our core production systems currently and it is a dream to use and setup takes literally minutes. Could not be easier.

Personally use VMware LogInsight. Pricing is per socket, or per device logged (and they have a VSPP price per month). Fairly reasonable and super easy to work with.
