        It should be easy.

Both deleting the history and disabling Location Tracking.

I would imagine that it's part of the Android OS so the only way to delete/remove would be use a custom image?

It is probably possible with just root, but likely easier with root and a custom image.

@lakshmana : Why are you attempting to remove the "location" feature from Android? I read this and all of your other posts and can't help but wonder what you're always doing. You seem to always take the "hard road" when it comes to implementing things with no rhyme-nor-reason for going about these and, I hate to say it, without the technical expertise to actually accomplish the goal.

Perhaps if you'd explain your REASONING for attempting to accomplish something, one of us may have better suggestions on how to go about your task. Unfortunately, you seem to ask after you're already neck deep in something with no hope of escape.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I'd really like to help you accomplish something the "correct" way instead of all of these hacks and workarounds that you always seem to be involved in...

Thanks for the suggestion. But i am not interested to be tracked from the Google or from internet.so i am in need to delete that location option.I am not hurted with your post but searching the things at the neck deep gives some thrill without escape from the scenario

Perhaps if you install xposed you can find a module to avoid or use a fake location.

                      Search here:

You have to wipe your phone to root most of the time... No other way around it.

This is really your only possible route. Unless you have a Nexus 6P or Pixel phone then you can run copperhead OS like I do 🙂

I've rooted several phones and I don't need to make a Full Wipe, just Cache and Dalvik partitions.

It used to be that way for me, but I have had to flash images on several recent models.
