So I've got a bunch of computers here that I've wiped and refreshed (you might remember my topic a few weeks ago). Anyways these are done, and are functional. I'm looking for a decent charity to donate these laptops to.

Anyone have recommendations of a charity to choose?

Churches are generally the first. But there may be some other non profits in your area as well. how about the local shelter?

I tend to steer away from churches for gifts of charity, but a local shelter for homeless and people who are trying to do better might work.

I guess I'd have to do some research and see what we have. .

Look for Veteran educational places or even community centers in your area that are looking for simple machines to teach typing, build resumes, etc.

I personally was thinking to donate the systems to a charity that does some sort of educational program.

Be it adult, children or other.

10 or so that are working. Anything that doesn't work is being recycled.
