If that device was released last year. You could definitely run into issues with using 16.04.
In fact, it would be expected. Part of the purpose of LTS releases is to specifically not support new hardware and devices.

Okay. There is about a 30% chance that that will fix it. Not great, but well worth trying.
It’ll take a bit I’m sure to download.
