Linphone

Does anyone use Linphone with TLS?, I'm having issues connecting with this softphone, no problems with Voiper though. Linphone puts in default account of which you cannot remove and other accounts are under proxy accounts.

TLS is on port 5061 by default.

@jaredbusch Cannot change that default sip address, it's greyed out, that Ip is my machine IP.

Adding a new account you can select TLS though, but once account is created I cannot see any register notification in my freepbx logs....can with Voiper on smartphone. (using wifi on nat, not mobile signal)

I don't use Linphone, @scottalanmiller does though.

So I installed it.. The preferences has these settings. I changed it from SIP and 5060 to SIP (TLS) and 5061.

Might not need to touch that...
The PBX goes under SIP accounts.You go to Manage SIP accounts and click add account.
Populate it here.
This is really no intuitive to beginners. @scottalanmiller .

I use ZoIPer on my iPhone. I do not use an app on my computer.

Isn't this the screen you want. Is this on windows @StuartJordan ?

That is under Add Account, I doubt you'd have to set the port manually.

@dustinb3403 I would specify the ports, but that looks like the right screen if that is on windows. My shots were from Fedora.

@jaredbusch Looks like the Linux version is slight better designed then the windows, can change port but not protocol:

You don't want to change anything. it is an outbound connection..
