LibreOffice 6.0 is now officially out. A major new feature is the Notebookbar, the LO competitor to the Ribbon interface.

      Download today at LibreOffice.org

Well as Notebookbar was hidden in there in 5.x, that's not surprising 😉 I had used it for a while, but it was pretty flaky.

It just moves from "beta" to "non-default preview."

Does the current releases of Fedora gives LibreOffice the same treatment like Firefox when it comes to new releases?

They keep improving LibreOffice. I believe I need to give it another try. Earlier versions were not that comfortable for me, particularly 4.3, and now they seem to be better.

Works pretty well, I have replaced Microsoft Office on various computers that don't need Microsoft Outlook and the other software as functionality wise it works well.

I've been Strictly LO in my personal life for a number of years now. It works great! The new 6.0 release improved load times for me big time.

This Notebook bar doesn't seem like anything particular different or special in anyways.

I've been using LibreOffice Draw (supposedly doesn't have the functionality) and I checked Calc to confirm. I don't see anything mind blowing. .
