So you are all fancy and you have a wiki for your documentation. How do you have it structured?

Are you asking about the actual structure of each page, your namespaces, or both?

I'm using WordPress, so it's structured by Categories and Tags. The search is excellent.

We have areas for general documentation, the a clients page that lists clients, then each client has their own main page. If the details needed are light, that's all that there is. If there is a big project, major system, or specifics that need to be broken off those get their own sub pages.

I'm trying to format mine similar to our file server structure so that it's easily recognizable by users. This will also hopefully make permission settings easier to apply and keep it from getting crazy.

Generally, I have top-level pages, or departments in my case, as just a reference page with links to the numerous subpages. Then if any subpages need subpages, then same thing.

                I'm also interested.

What information do you keep and do you have a default template that you always use?

For example listing the company, then contact information for after hours, then server passwords, then network structure, etc...

Not sure if JB is looking for the same, but I have yet to find a decent template that is comprehensive but not overly complicated.

I'm looking into using a mix of NetworkDNA and Citrix XenServer documentation formats for my wiki.

                    NetworkDNA

No questions on my end. The real question is, what hygene?
