In Houston with the family now. Boy have I missed my kids. Went ten days at home alone.
And you haven't gone crazy yet? After a couple of days by myself, I tend to have some problems.
I tend to decline pretty fast. I was losing my mind by the end.
The idea of alone time is great... but in practice, even after a few hours, you start getting crazy. Can't imagine 10 days.
I haven't been away from my family for more than half a day in years.
I'm good for about two days, then I go nuts.
I send mine to Japan for 2 months every year.

Didn't sleep even an hour last night and I think I can taste colors. Falling asleep at my desk almost. Haven't felt this tired in a long time.

Supposed to be low 70's during the day, but it sucks going out to your car at 5:30am. I had to do the first part of my Gym workout outside.

It was 8 degrees Fahrenheit just the other day here.
DOesn't matter. If you live every day in 70+ Fahrenheit, then suddenly it starts getting close to freezing, at night, no sun, it'll feel cold. It doesn't matter how much hair you have on your chest at that point.
Keep in mind I'm dressed for the gym... shorts and a tank or tee. And I dress for the daytime, usually 70+ degrees.

Yeah it gets cold in Sweden when I was there, and in PA where I'm from...
It just depends on what you're used at the time.
The biggest part of it is just not being in the correct mind-set for the temperature. I'm mentally expecting it to be warm, because it's sunny San Diego... but it wasn't lol.
