I noticed this morning that, unlike how it has been in the past, when I mark an email as "junk" in OWA it asks me if I would like to also submit the email in question to Microsoft to help them with identifying SPAM. Is this a new change this week? I only saw it for the first time in the past hour.

That would be a great improvement. I want them analyzing this stuff as much as possible to eliminate any SPAM that they can.

I agree - however I just looked at my OWA and I'm not finding any active SPAM messages. I did set up a rule on the back end that should be agency wide that should funnel all [SPAM] messages to junk.

I did however get a message this past week that someone got some. They deleted it before I saw it.

While I can't tell you the date I created the rule, looking at my mailbox, I have not seen a [SPAM] tag email since Sept 4th.
I've turned it off to see what happens, and will try as you have mentioned the report option.

There has always been SPAM filtering. It is reporting the SPAM to Microsoft to review that appears to be brand new.
