There was good reasons for it, but just because you are above Thai does not mean you will get that status.

So I can't just up my post count and automagically hang out with the cool kids? 😛

You're already apart of the kewl kids group, right here.

      😄 I win!

To my knowledge, only 1 person was banned from it, that is Curtis.

I think banned gives the wrong impression - that he made it and was removed. He never made it.

He did make it and was removed.

That's not what I was told.

It is what I was told. Either way, he is an exception to most things and of course any admin can preemptively block any user from any group on any forum. That does not make an automatic thing a selective thing.

If it did, then I could claim that you selectively allow all of us on ML to have access to every category.

Not the same, all categories here are open to the public without registration or identity.

On a tangentially (not really) related note, I just found this.

Yeah, that was a real site for a while. But we didn't make it for a year or two after that. It was like "worldsdumbestitpro.com" or something like that. But eventually once there was ML, we just quoted and screen shot his stuff here instead.

Asking if upgrading his DFL from 2003 to 2008 will breaking his FreeNAS systems. . .

                Ugh.

Well he hasn't responded yet. He started off weak, but maybe he'll be like "oh snap, I screwed up" once he reads the thread.

If you have a simple network this will work great. in fact for non-IT home users, it is a great solution.

But for anyone with half a clue in IT, this is a horrible solution.

Isn't there a controller for edge devices or is that still beta?

I just checked, OF 2.99 remains their most recent release. I wonder if getting exposed on SW was the nail in their coffin.
