EdgeRouter Dual WAN Failover

I'm looking to replace a Xincom with something equivalently priced that will work at least as well, if not better (with a lower failure rate). Is there an EdgeRouter that will do dual WAN failover (I don't need load balancing)? If so (going to keep digging through the site), have any of you worked with it? How well did it work?

I think the ERL and all models above that do it.

I set up one in our office for load balancing and defo saw failover options.

Sure it does. it is still the same EdgeOS.
You just have to properly configure it.

I do not use it anywhere, but yes it does work and I have tested it once.
There were reports that the latest firmware had some bug with load balancing/failover, but it should be resolved with the current hotfix.

yeah i was wondering why it wouldn't be able to. Sure it has a switch processor in it that might add some vulnerability, but perhaps not.

You don't have to put a port on the switch.

Yeah, all the EdgeRouters will do WAN fail over. I had an ER-X at the old job doing this, an many ER-POE now as well.
