It's nice getting a phone call you actually can enjoy, rather than being ranted at by end users, lol.
I'm about to send an e-mail to all end users about upcoming phone system changes. It's been discussed as an "it's coming. . .eventually" thing for a while, so I'm hoping there won't be too many sky-is-falling replies to my e-mail about <shudder> change!

Sent out a reminder / calendar event to everyone to remind them the power in the building will be off all day on the 21st, which is 2 weeks away... Have gotten 2 panicky calls already asking why the power is going to be out tomorrow.... Hurry up, 12:30, I'm ready to go home now.

Woop BT turned up today and nearly 2hrs later we have internet so maybe wait a week to check it's working 100% then phase 2 of the re-cable job.

At some point it has to be cheaper to just get articulating desks rather than these temporary solutions, right?
