Setting a VM to demo ResourceMate Library.

It's not hard to install. The client bits work good as RemoteApps.

Yeah, it's not hard to install. The previous version is installed locally on the librarian computer.
I have a VM that I use for testing Windows applications so I installed it on that for librarian to try.

Installed vmware esxi on my home R510 last night. Apparently, v6.5 doesn't have NFS datastore connections in the classic client. There's not a free edition of the vsphere client/server either, so I was forced to downgrade to 6.0u3.

There's a builtin web client in 6.5. That's the preferred client now.

I know KVM can do NFS datastores 😉

Just finished lunch after donating blood to the red cross.

Just walked in, it took them a bit as they were busy, but it'd fine as I was able to wait for em.

Looks like Slack is partially down today? Their websockets interface has failed so they can't push the interface. Anyone else seeing this?

Seems ok for me and their status page doesn't indicate any problems.

Just came back here. It reported errors a few times. Then eventually cleared up.

                              Slack is lame. Discord FTW!

I saw mention of that, but I downgraded as I was unable to open the web client on the free license. VMware is really, really pushing people to get a license. That completely sucks because now I'm going to be experimenting on old software.

It never ceases to amaze me how a 4 second section of a song can start to sound so abstract after the 50th time around.

Context: I stayed up way too late last night recording horn parts on a new song.

A zombie horn section seems like it might be easier to wrangle at this point. We could keep them chained up in the rehearsal space, and they would never have wife/kid stuff that kept them from showing up.
