          Makes me proud to be the first known person to report this, though. MangoLassi's claim to fame - the site blocked by Lenovo that led to this getting discovered.

              Has the FTC ever gave a fine that was large enough to make a company think twice about doing shady practice?

                  Isn't consumer protection one of the mandates of the FTC? I don't think they went far enough in this case.
