@aaronstuder Thanks for your reply. The pfSense appliance is a VM on HyperV.

@c-cruz Did you take a look at this?

I ran pfSense on ESXi before and experienced exactly the same behavior. I ended up putting it on bare metal, as no solutions worked. Rebuilding it, including config takes minutes, so I saw no benefits in virtualizing it, only issues.

@aaronstuder Thanks for your reply, i made the same steps as the guide. The VM is working and i have full connectivity, but after 1 hour the WAN is down. I made this change as you suggested (https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/VirtIO_Driver_Support), now i will monitor what will happen after 1 hour.

Unfortunately, the solution (https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/VirtIO_Driver_Support) that @aaronstuder provided me didnt worked.

@c-cruz You might try the Hyper-V instructions.

                  Can you upgrade to 2.4.X?

                      This assumes he's not onsite. . .

Which he must be on site because he's changing the settings in PFSense when it goes offline.

                      🙂

Do you have all offloading settings disabled in System > Advanced > Networking?

                            Hardware Checksum Offloading
                            Hardware TCP Segmentation Offloading
                            Hardware Large Receive Offloading
