People always mention that girls are looking for princes who only want them for their looks. But it also teaches boys stuff too - that ideal girls are cute and pointless and have nothing to offer but looks and that their own value doesn't come from anything but what they are born with. The bad lessons go both ways.

I wonder how much Facebook can tell me about how much I'm negatively affected by ads. "Funny, we kept showing him this ad and now he avoids that company." I wonder if companies pay to show me ads from other companies.
