PHP 7.2 Beta Shows Marked Performance Improvements

Phoronix decided to run some performance tests of PHP 5.6, 7, 7.1 and the first beta release of 7.2. The results are pretty clear, PHP 7.2 looks to be a bigger performance leap over 7.1 than 7.1 was over 7.0 which was already an enormous leap over 5.6. PHP is on a serious road to speed and has a bright future.
