Curious - why would you need a profile to install it on a phone? If Exchange it's just UserID /Pass.

            Le Sigh -

No,.. but let's split some hairs and mention every aspect of the connection. Yes, it' needs the server, but GENERALLY speaking when setting up Exchange I've only needed to enter the UserID and Pass. The app uses AUTODISCOVERY to locate and populate the remaining aspects needed such as Domain, Server etc.

            But - ...

Let's not get hung up on the iPhone. We have the configuration profile for that and it works great. We send the iPhone people a link and it walks them through putting in there username and password and adding the account to the iPhone. We use Exchange 2013 and host our own email. Is there anything similar to a configuration profile that the iPhones have for an Android.

Do you have Autoconfigure DNS entries setup? I'm in the minority but I've found Outlook for Android to be the least work and most reliable Exchange client on the device.

I don't know if I'd call it the most reliable Exchange client, but I do like it.

But really setting up Exchange, as long as the Autoconfigure DNS entries are setup make adding Exchange email to Android's default email app a breeze, just follow the prompts when adding an account.
