Looking for Photo Organizaiton Apps for Fedora based systems

Back when I was on Windows I used Picasa for my local organization of photos.
Google killed that off a while ago now, but I was still using it.
Now that I have made the jump to a Fedora based system (Korora 25), I am looking for recommendaitons on solid photo organization applications similar to Picasa.
Nothing online. Strictly local organization. I already have my online method of getting pictures out there narrowed to a couple options. I will make that final choice once I have a desktop application.

I've never used more than the defaults (shotwell and gwenview).

OneDrive via the web?
If you want to have them available locally, you can find OneDrive app available on GitHub. Don't have the link handy, but I can get it if you like.

I guess I don't know what you mean by organizational. I assumed organized by folder/album/date/color or whatever. That's how I do it in OneDrive on the web. You don't need the sync tool, I only added that if you want to organize them locally and have it sync to the web.

I would never use OneDrive anyway. Fck all that shit..
But assuming I exclusively used an online tool that wasn't crap, man screw that. dealing with 500GB of images and video online only? no.

A good applicaiotn helps you organize pictures into other groups without actually moving the pictures or duplicating them.
In Picasa, it was called "Albums," and it appears to be called "Events" in Shotwell.
Shotwell is still doing the initial import, so I have not started trying to do any other organization yet.

It will also include basic editing tools like this.
But not try to be a Gimp level tool.

Here you can see what I mean. I can rename this "event" to something else and know where it is byt a useful name. Such as "Client C President's house".
But this would not affect the file location necessarily.

[17:22 jbusch ~/Pictures]$Ya I didn't know if Cinnamon included anything. I really only use it on a KDE system like I have now. I've found that GTK stuff looks better under Qt than Qt does under GTK. But that might just be me.

After I installed wireshark on Fedora 25 cinnamon, I looked at what gui packages were available and seen qt and gtk. I chose qt and it looks/runs great and smooth.

I've never used more than the defaults (shotwell and gwenview).
Shotwell is installed on Korora 25 by default. Gwenview is not, but in the standard
updatesrepo.I'll look at them.
Gwenview is Qt based so it will most likely install a crap ton of dependencies. It might be something to research before installing it if you don't want all of that.

Ya Qt is awesome. It gives you a lot of flexibility.
It's been a while since I had a single Qt app run under a GTK DE so things may have improved a lot.
I'm kind of excited to see how LXQt turns out when it's all finished.
