Have not gotten muted in a while.. But likely because I rarely post outside of the VoIP forum.
Have you taken a big interest in VoIP or is it just a big on-going project?

It's the being helpful and knowledgeable that get's you in trouble.

LOL, I've not had that today, but it happens SO often. It's how you know you are telling the truth and not just placating people or stroking egos.

Just one of my stronger skill areas. I have been dealing with VoIP in one way or another since 1999.

Wearing lead? what's the issue here? it's not like you are putting it directly on your skin.

You should know, you get an email. I get it constantly. Always when I point out how someone is trying to take advantage of someone's naivety and they get upset that they weren't allowed to just run roughshod over them without being questioned.

It's not normally about being smart, at least not from what I've seen, but more often a conflict of ethical stances. Most people that I see being muted (certainly not all) tend to happen when there has been a breach of professional ethics and the people making sure that that can't continue are the ones getting muted.
