      You could try deleting the update history, that way it's just some thinks that no updates have ever been installed.

      That'll force the update to go through and look for updates.

      I'd look up the process for you but I only have mobile internet access

              Didn't Microsoft change their updating scheme to monthly cumulative or something like that? I thought I remember reading something about that a few months back. I haven't really been paying attention lately.

                  I can't speak for January, but MS canceled the planned updates for February - The rumor is that MS's update servers had a problem that couldn't be resolved quickly.

                  Originally MS just postponed the update, then 3 days later they canceled it until March.

                    It's a venerable and pretty stable release at this point. It might really just have had nothing to have gotten for a while.
