It's been a long time since I've been to Florida, but I imagine it as just hot and sticky with non-scenic views for most of the state.

Not much different than Texas. According to that logic, we're 80% similar. The only difference is we don't have gators.

There is good fishing in FL, no doubt about that. That's how I stayed sane while I lived there. Fishing and golf.

I understand fishing, but golf just doesn't make sense to me.
You get a tiny ball, and you hit it really far away, and every time to take a swing, you have to mark a stroke(cause it feels like you're going to have a stroke). Then you have to chase your ball, find it in the brush etc.
I'd rather fish and shoot guns.
