Didn't take long to run through the BMS units I ordered... BMS: Battery Management System (board). I had ordered two each of the 3s and 4s.. So time to think about the next set of each,.. and maybe added a 5s board in the mix to see about replacing the batteries in an 18v Black and Decker battery...

liking the iMax B5AC charger and that it connects to the computer.

That computer connection does make for some nice graphics. I've got a more general purpose one.

I believe it's the same charger (the B6 series) just the V2 with the added USB connection.

It's pretty nice, and was only $50... so wasn't terrible. The software could use some changes... But alas,.. it still works fine.

The charger, power supply, and fire resistant bags to store/charge the batteries in, it all adds up quick.

Same here for a while, was scrambling to get data off this laptop so the dev could work from home (sick). But now that he's got his data to go (most of the 5gb was personal pictures, which I should have scolded him about), the hurry is over.

Personal Photos huh... Yep... he could have waited... tough lesson to learn...but sometimes you have to teach it.

I didn't know until it was 80% done copying... He got a stern "when you drop a laptop, they often break" speech, but since he's ailing, I'll wait about the "personal files on company equipment" speech (which concludes with "I will take no responsibility for the safety of your personal stuff").

                  Roughly 10 years ago:
User: "Could you please copy my files to my new notebook?"
Me: "Sure. Anything you don't want me to see?"
User: "Nope, just a few family pics"

I've noticed a very large file in the copy dialogue... 4GB ISO file, something about nurses. And it wasn't exactly what I would call a medical training video.

Maybe setting a screenshot of the "nurses" as his desktop background would curtail such behavior...

Yeah, I would normally warn the user that I will tell his superior if something like that ever happens again. But in this case... well... "Hey, Boss, look what I've found on your notebook?". Harakiri 😉

ML has been somewhat slow today for posting. I don't get on SW much anymore, not at all today. So couldn't say anything about that.

Is it just me or are both ML and SW super slow today?

                                        Its a bank holiday.

I had just figured that out after I posted but walked away. President's day I guess.

Yepp. Kids are out of school and everything. Oddly enough, the University I work at is full steam ahead today, lol.

@scottalanmiller Yeah. Probably something to do with saving the vacation day or another time where we can get a 4 day weekend or something.
