Loads of LAMP resources out there. Linux is used for that so often that probably half of all projects use LAMP somewhere.

That's good, more to learn. Next step is to enable and start the firewall.

Apache is a service. It is not related to the firewall.

If you want your firewall on, and you should, you need to enable it. It's name is firewalld.
