Paypal really wants to join with Facebook

So a few weeks ago after making a payment on PP, I got a FB messenger message from PP about my payment. I didn't notice the screen below and just clicked through it.

I didn't want this - so I dug into getting it unlinked (took 30+ min).

Now every time I make a payment through a website that uses PP I get this stupid pop up demanding that I link my FB account to my PP account.

DAMNIT - I want my privacy, stop merging shit!!!!

I don't recall seeing this. Maybe you should email Paypal and/or Facebook and tell them to turn it off?

I do not get this. but then

I do not have messenger installed anywhere.
I have never purchased through FB or anything else that could possibly link FB to my PP account.
I never use my FB account as the registration for another site.

I'm definitely not using FB for registration of any sites (though I might have done it once ages ago when that was new, I definitely don't use it today).
