Does anyone know of a good 3D printing service that allows .STL files?
The total ended up being over $75 for a plastic Gameboy case. Is this normal?

Are you in the US? Check with your local library system. Mine (Denver, CO) has free 3D printing and courses on design. If you are unable to get this done at a reasonable price, I don't mind dropping the STL at the library here for you, though it would take a couple weeks for them to print and then I'd have to ship it out (I'm sure you can cover a USPS flatrate box).
