So here is a surprising one, I spoke to my bank yesterday about prepping our credit card for traveling to Italy. They asked if I was leaving the country because of the new president taking office. I laughed and said this was our normal travel schedule and was scheduled quite a bit before he was elected - I had forgotten that this was in conjunction with him taking office.

The bank said that they are flooded with calls today (it's a BMW Bank account, so tends to be the more affluent people using the accounts, which makes sense) as their customers are calling in to alter their accounts as they are leaving the country in huge numbers. I had no idea that there was actually a noticeable number of people leaving. Apparently it's almost all from the more affluent ranks, which is not surprising. My guess is that these are the people who were waiting till the last second to see what was going to happen and are trying to get out this week before anything happens.

Just went out to do some shopping. Got a new suitcase to replace the one that the wife killed this morning. Doing packing now. Have to go up to the city to pick up the rental car in a little bit.

Just installed a Sangoma S300 at dad's. He's on the PBX now so that it is far easier to call him from overseas. He eliminated his land line a few weeks ago that he has had since I was born. This makes things so much cheaper for her. That thing was nothing but spam calls around the clock.

nope, but then again I rarely know the names of any RAID cards.

I'm not even familiar with the naming format.
