Well I question if we as humans doing everything except for innovating, if we actually need income.
Why not just provide everyone, whatever they want?

I think once we have the rise of robots doing all of the work, universal income will be obvious and forced. Groups will fight it, but it won't work for long.

we're not quite there yet technologically to do that. And even if we are - the people at the top aren't willing to give up their believed power to do so.

No further need to have "leaders" etc.

That's not true at all. AI can automate production to an extreme degree, but it isn't likely to have any useful place in automating leadership.

Which is why Google bought up a ton of Robotics manufacturers. Maybe the universal currency with be Google Bucks

That's not true at all. AI can automate production to an extreme degree, but it isn't likely to have any useful place in automating leadership.
Agreed - there will be leadership, I just have no idea how it will look in the future. We could have a Wall-e type existence where humans don't matter and just do anything we want, while the automated systems take care of everything.

I'm not sure it will replace it but I think it could go a long way to informing it. Using some of the same techniques we use for big data analytics could be a boon for informed leadership.

I'm not sure it will replace it but I think it could go a long way to informing it. Using some of the same techniques we use for big data analytics could be a boon for informed leadership.
That's a totally different concept, though, not related to what we are discussing here and is something that they've had for a very, very long time already.
