Do you mean plenum/riser rated cable or pre-assembled ones with heavy duty connectors?

It will be for temporary use outdoors.

So, something like the Ubiquiti stuff?

I've never used that type of cable, just the riser stuff (which may or may not be outdoor rated).

Just remember that if you buy some wacky tough superman rated cable you're going to have a bad time putting ends on it. Get pre-made lengths.

Well,.. I have remapped things, and I may not need it after all. I still need to do some placement tests.

And yes,.. at this point - I would prefer pre-made cables. I don't mind to terminate them, but prefer to not to.

Monoprice as well. Though I'd go with the Ubiquiti as a first choice.

Yea... terminating cables, even if you do a really good job is never as nice as having ones made to fit your need without having to punch down or crimp the ends.

And I do have to crimp and punch down a lot of my own cables.

I have used the tough cable on jobs with outdoor APs for wireless bridges. You should use jacks with the metal shield on them. It's not much harder, but they are harder to find and more expensive.
