Xubuntu 16.10 Issue Detected

Xfce environment in Xubuntu 16.10 is good to use.The environment looks so good to use.

Not Working inside Xubuntu :Wifi Drivers not detected,Camera drivers not Detected,MTS also not detected(Internet Dongle).The same issue which happens in Ubuntu 17.04 happens here also.

The Videos and Music is playing without any error but the sound is having low quality with the Full sound inside Xubuntu 16.10

Might be that Ubuntu does not have the drives for your hardware.

If it doesn't work out of the box, I'd move on to a different OS. Try Fedora 24, OpenSuse Tumbeweed, etc. They don't all work in the same places. Your laptop maker likely doesn't test any. Trying to find drivers for your system is not really something that you do in the Linux desktop world. You have an unsupported OS in this instance.

Let's say "intermediate". But yes, moving on to a different distro is probably his best bet.

Worth trying, it's Ubuntu under the hood so likely going to have the same driver issues. But maybe not.

I had to abandon Mint for the same reasons - drivers. Ubuntu works flawlessly on my laptop, Mint won't even load.

A quick Google search for "BCM43142 Ubuntu" suggests that the wifi controller is using a closed source firmware. What needs to be done now is to identify which firmware you need and how you can install it.

According to linuxwireless.com: You'll need the b43 driver, not the b43legacy (which is for BCM 802.11b chipsets only). There's another driver called brcmfmac, which is for Broadcom USB devices only.
Run this command while the machine is somehow connected to the internet:

sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer

@thwr I got frustated because the same dependency error comes repeatedly with different names in the command prompt for the Wifi Driver itself

Did you fix your other problem before? You need to solve that, because that's causing the failure (and every other error in the future)
