No, killed some of those tonight, though. We are guessing some kind of strange wasp, but really don't know. Certainly not a roach, though. I know the local wood roaches very well.

Yeah, looking at it again it does look much more waspy.
From my quick googling, it looks like a member of the Paper Wasp family.Not sure which one but could be one of these:

Just got into the office, had to stop by the datacenter this morning because when we switched ISPs and got a new public IP block, we broke all the branch office VPN tunnels

I do appreciate that, but our firewalls take IPs for the VPN tunnels. No biggie, we only lost remote configuration capabilities for one evening.

Just got to work. I'm dressed up for the wake I have to go to later, which a lot of people are surprised by how nicely I clean up. Lol
I just wish I still had a proper suit with all the amenities.

Proper dress shoes, my tie clips (I used to have a small but nice collection), long and dark socks, etc.

I wore suits 3x/week, at least, for most of my life.

I got a proper black suit when I had to go to my grandmother's funeral. With a black shirt and tie, I look like a hitman (not a bad thing). I'll be pimping around in said suit once the weather cools down a bit.
