I'm missing something with setting a static route. Our web host has cPanel setup for us (well, mostly other people not having to memorize command line things.) The problem I'm having is that our two ER-X is to smart about load balancing between our two slow DSL connections, and cPanel boots you out if your IP address changes. I've tried adding a static route for the network our host is on, but the ER-X is still sending traffic over both connections.

      Routing table:

I don't deal with networking nearly enough to remember all the details. Do I need to add a NAT rule as well? Or what else am I missing?

I think that the issue is that it is too low in the list. It need to be in front of 0.0.0.0 of the packets have already routed and it never gets to that rule.

I would use a source and destination NAT rule to force it.

Thanks. I'll have to wait till after lunch or tomorrow to get that setup. Redoing the server over there as well, so no remote access at this point 😞 (I want my jumpbox back!)
