They have been my home page for years. I have looked for a new one, but never found one that gives me what they offer. As crazy as that sounds.

I tried to use Yahoo! for this and that over the years, I always kind of liked them, especially when they owned Zimbra. But more and more, I just can't find anything that they do well. Yahoo! Finance, I guess

She may be the best part of Yahoo. 😉

In case Verizon wants to fire a few people? Just asking... 😉 But I guess the best part of yahoo is their investment portfolio in the Asian market.

Now Verizon can offer low end, consumer email. Yay.

Except almost no one pays for personal email. You'd just get a free account from Yahoo or Google.

Yahoo! Japan is huge. Not sure how much is owned by Yahoo itself though. A lot of Japanese integrations are mostly Japanese companies.

Looks like 36.4% Softbank and 35.5% Yahoo according to a cited WIkipedia article.

                              This is interesting:

Since 2010, Yahoo! Japan's search engine has been based on Google's search technology. In exchange, Google receives user activity data from Yahoo! Japan's various products.
