@kamidon Indie games are great. I'm actually getting into some indie board games. I know @coliver is big into board games as well.
Check out Pixel Glory and Boss Monster. Super fun. My fiance thinks they are really cute games so maybe your wife will like them as well!

She does love board games, hmmmm I'm unsure about card games.Disclaimer: I am a huge tabletop, card, and board game addict... it's a real problem.
There are a few really good card games that anyone can get into. Super Fight is a good one. Exploding Kittens, Flux, Loonacy, and Cards Against Humanity are really fun party games that you can pick up and play in just a few minutes.

I've never really been a big fan of deck builders. Dominion was my first exposure to them and, while fun, it didn't have the pull as some other games in the genre for me. I loved Sentinels of the Multiverse. Cooperative deck-"building" is a ton of fun. You should check out Miskatonic School for Girls if you like Dominion. It takes the concept and flips it over.

I haven't played Boss Monster yet. It has been on my list... I live in an extremely rural area so it is hard to get people to play a lot of these games.

Is anyone holding their breath for the Final Fanatasy 7 remake?
From everything I've been able to find, it's supposedly coming out in December of this year.

Not really. I understand why some people like them but I could never really get into the turn-based strategy games.
