      How about LVM ?

Definitely going to be doing a ton on storage. I've got a supporting article that I need to do as a foundation to that. Then LVM, definitely, that's a big one. i think that I'm covering LVM at MangoCon, too.

I've run across this thread a few times, finally bookmarked it along with the other learning tools. I bet there is some good content in here when I get some time.

Yeah, LVM tends to be hard for people to wrap their heads around, and also difficult to explain in a clear and concise manner.

Yes, you have to have a solid understand of solid "drive appearances" as a standard interface before you can even discuss it.

I'm rather unsure about this one. How much details is needed? Do I need more info? More examples?

Not strictly part of this guide itself, but was necessary reference material for it. So this one is an SMBITJournal article copied here. But is referenced by the next article here being written.

While it would not be an ad - you could also make an 'ad banner' for it. ... don't know if that would be 'an option'.
