Which allows you to get an assortment of action shots, and with a 170º wide angle lens, multiple resolutions, and FPS; the applications for this camera are unlimited, and with the water proof case, you can get the really amazing shots, or not having to worry about the elements such as rain, or snow. The resolutions range from 4k@25fps – 720p@90fps. Allowing you to get UHD video on a budget. It is important to remember this camera is NOT a GoPro, it is an alternative action camera that resembles a GoPro and has around 70% of the functionality. However, don’t let that detour you from your goals. The camera’s basic functionalities are pretty impressive as compared to some of the higher end cameras in the world of producing modern video’s online, or for home use. The photo quality is sub par at best. So, if your intentions are to use this as a still image camera? I would recommend looking into a point and shoot camera. It takes photos, but my model never produced a quality image. As long as a consumer doesn’t expect a $90 action camera to do what a $400 action camera will do, they should be pretty satisfied with what this little cam can produce.

The accessories that come with the camera are impressive to say the least. My expectations were not very high knowing that this was a cheaper brand of outdoor action camera (a knockoff GoPro). I could only assumed that the accessories shown online where glorified. Much to my delight, I was just plain wrong in my assumptions! When you purchase a high end camera such as the GoPro, you get maybe one mount? This camera came with a smorgasbord of mounting options. The quality of the mounts do not have a cheaply made feel to them. They feel strong and hold very well. With plenty of options to mount

– 4k@25fps – is not TRUE 4k the resolution is 3200×1800
– 1080p@30/60fps – Produces clean clear video
– 720p@90/120fps – Is for slow motion options. Works pretty good with a video editor you can get decent Slow Mo content.

We took out the camera and ran it through several test. (see the video below). The camera produced decent video . us. Pretty impressive for a $90 camera. The cmos-sensor is said to be 16mp. I would think its more or less in that range. The 4k isn’t true 4k video. However, it produced very decent video at around 3k. The Slow Mo wasn’t very slow. I had to adjust the video on my editor in order to get the Slow Motion effect I was aiming for. However, editing the video wasn’t very hard, and the video quality is fantastic to use on my YouTube channel on my HD videos.
The microphone on the camera works as well as can be expected, provided that the camera case was not on the camera. With the case on, you have to scream into the camera to pick up your voice audio. With out the waterproof case on, the microphone picks up pretty much every sound. So there will be a lot of back ground noise to deal with. However, with a decent audio editor such as the free Audacity software, you can remove all that back ground noise.
WiFi and Wireless Remoteremote
The WiFi option is fantastic. It works very well. I prefer to use this option over the wireless remote. The QR Code on the side of the packaging will allow you to download the app from either your ios or android devices. The app is easy to use, allows you to adjust all the functions of the camera, and works with other cameras as well. Not to mention you can see the video right on your device.
The wireless remote was a bit of a disappointment. It only worked at around 5 inches from the camera while in the waterproof case. Out of the case, it works about about 8 inches. The power button will turn off the camera only, not power it on. The blue button is for the photos, and the Green button is the video on/off. The wrist straps are decent, and works to strap it to other things as well.

The SD card association defines card speeds using two terms: Speed Class and UHS Speed Class.
Speed class is the original rating used and the number defines the card speed; 4 for 4MB/s, 6 for 6MB/s. etc.
UHS (Ultra High Speed) uses minimum write speeds to differentiate the cards; UHS-I Speed Class 1 has a minimum write speed of 10MB/s while UHS-I Speed Class 3 has a minimum write speed of 30MB/s.

When do you need a faster card
Here are some signs you may need to upgrade your card:
Long buffering – when you press the shutter and the camera takes the shot but then it freezes until the data is fully written to the card.
Corrupted video – video cameras might produce corrupted video files if the card speed is too slow or the camera may downgrade the video to match the speed of the card. This could turn full 1080p HD video into a video with much lower resolution.
Shortened clips – when a camera has a higher writing speed than the Flash card, the camera will pause and the video clip will abruptly end once the speed limit of the card is reached.
Burst shooting – many cameras have a burst mode feature where one press produces a repeated series of photographs; this allows users to capture fast-moving events or subjects like pets and children. If the card writing speed is too slow, burst mode setting will not work.
Having the right SD Card for the type of video’s you are producing is a vital part of “Quality” video content. For 1080p or 2.7-4k video’s, I recommend using at least a Class 10 UHS-I Class 3. This will make the difference in the way the UHD video writes to the card while being recorded.

Cons - Is not true 4k video. Its 3200x1800 resolution - Battery compartment is poorly made, hard to open - Navigating through the menu is a bit complicated at first - Still images are poor quality - Wireless remote not functioning after about 8 inches
Summary
Overall the camera has been wonderful to use, and to film with. I would recommend to anyone to get if they can't afford a GoPro, or other high end name brand action cameras. Takes decent video and gets the job done! We appreciate Pushing wake for this product to review.
