Racing fuel? Sometimes, I just sit and think, "That takes a special person."

Will the American Healthcare system finally wake up and admit that treating cancer by building up the immune system instead of knocking it down is the best treatment? I doubt it, but always hope.

@scottalanmiller yep, we haven't "cured" anything since polio, and with anti-vaxxers running rampant among us, I feel we are on the cusp of a big polio comeback. I mean, we have had outbreaks of smallpox/measles, even though we have "eradicated" those diseases.... polio is overdue, don'tcha think?

although to be fair, the anti-vaxxers got their start because of the overly pro-vaxxers making smallpox viable again. There is a balance. One camp is a response to the other.

Anti-vaxxers are simply the bottom rung of the intelligence ladder... they are the individuals who are most susceptible to internet misinformation (looking at you, Vana Hari and Jenny McCarthy) and the whole "feelgood" marketing BS . No matter what hippies tell you, tea tree oil is not a cure for anything, especially disease we have vaccines for. Vaccines don't cause autism (a recent study, sponsored by anti-vaxxers, proved there is no link between vaccines and autism. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot).

The extended family who doesn't do vaccinations had a bout of something, I'm thinking it was polio, but not sure. They're actually generally more healthy, but could pass from something that wouldn't bother the rest of us. I don't think most people in the US are given any insight besides what big pharma pushes. Nobody really knows all the risk factors involved.

It's true, there are no honest studies in the US. All medical information is filtered. The degree of misinformation is crazy.

Well, considering the fact that they got DDT outlawed even tho the preponderance of evidence shows it's perfectly safe. They used a supposed study that they gave the excuse that it made bird eggs soft. Never mind that the study they used fed each group of birds in the study a different diet. I'll give you one guess which group of birds had such low calcium in the diet that they would have been unable to product good eggs. Time and time again they've pulled this sort of...... stuff.

For me it's not so much about autism as it is what else they include with the vaccines. If you want to remain healthy, you have to avoid all the vaccines with preservatives in them. IE Don't complain to me about the rising cases of Alzheimer's Disease if you continue pushing the yearly flue vaccinations with mercury in them. At least other types of vaccinations have a proven track record of actually working, which the flue vaccines do not.
