Heading up to Colorado today after work to go skiing for a few days!

Literally nothing is planned for this weekend. So great!

Are we talking about the weekend already? With my office being closed yesterday I feel like it's almost a Monday around here.

Most of the way to the weekend here, already Wednesday evening.

Tomorrow is my birthday, so I am celebrating Saturday. I plan on riding bikes with my wife, filling a growler with craft beer, and secretly drink it out of water bottles while riding around town. Beer + Bikes + day drinking is the best Saturday possible.

@s.hackleman I like a nice baco-noir in my camelbak. I'd go with beer but carbonated stuff just dosen't work nicely.

@MattSpeller I just can't do the Cammel back thing. I have a Drink Tank and a Trek Transport. I can easily pack lunch and beer for 2. Honestly, if I had more free time and better access to camping sites, I could pack a tent, a grill, and a few chairs too, but I digress.

Awww yeah, I'm out at 1pm today (like every Friday). I've been fantasizing about a nice nap all week long, and today I will make it happen. All I need to do when I get home is whip up a quick marinade for some chicken legs (citrus+achiote+adobo+garlic), then I've got a date w/ my couch.

My parents reminded me last night at dinner. Otherwise I would have come in on Monday and had no idea what people were talking about. Football is one, among many, sports that I just can't get in to. Which is funny considering I used to work for a company that has goalposts in the majority of NFL stadiums.

My sister works in public relations for the Seattle Seahawks, so I can't claim to be disinterested. They really didn't do so well this year, which may be a good thing. They just told me that my nephew will be an older brother around September
