I am going to give it a go, what do I have to lose (besides $50), it's month to month, cancel anytime 🙂

Let me know what you think. I'd be willing to try it too once I get some extra $$ in the bank.

That is partially how they keep the price down. Hosting is cheaper in Canada. Top tier server hosting, the absolute best in the country, tops out at $70CDN per U. You can often get that down to around $40 USD if you hunt for deals.

        Hosting or colo?

What's the different? 😉 Colo, to to be specific. The hosting of your server.

Dedicated Server hosting... Decent Specs... the KS-4 is $28 per month. (16GB RAM, 1TB Drive)

I guess I read hosting and think they are hosting on their hardware, not hosting your hardware in their DC - but your use of u is what told me it was most likely your hardware there.

It's on real hardware. What did you have them load on it?

Also, how do you get actual console access to it?

So you don't have any control of your own hardware? What if something goes wrong?

To what VM? How do you use the server that they gave you?

How do you manage XenServer? Do you have to use the CLI since you have it without XenCenter or whatever?

@scottalanmiller They have a control panel you can install anything that they have available. Sadly I don't see a way to add a custom ISO ether.

How do you connect up to it after they have it installed?
